Televisions 4G Blackout
Written: April 11, 2016

It has been sometime now since the Government took back part of the Television spectrum and sold it to Telstra for their mobile 4g network.

Here at explorer Product Range the effects are still being felt as our customers use their C2 C3 or C10 antenna systems in areas of high 4G interference. The old models do not have a filter so your pictures can be are impacted by this service. The interference can be so bad that your TV returns the message “NO SIGNAL” if the interference is mild then pixilation will result.

The earlier explorer models have no facility to add the filter. We do however offer an upgrade which is called the Nomad Antenna System This is a new antenna, amplifier built in filter and new cable.

Many regional areas have been badly affected. We can offer advice in these situations as well.

If you are experiencing this problem with your earlier model explorer then please give us a call if additional information is needed.
