75 OHM “F” connector Terminator.

Easy to use with no special tooling required.

Simply screw on the end of an unterminated (open port) on a splitter or wall plate  or Drop Tap or an amplifier outlet not used.

What is not often appreciated is the effects of unterminated or open ports on splitters, amplifiers, wall plates, etc.

It is an ingress point for signal noise and other electrical noise as it is not shielded. There are also wave reflection issues that can occur and create standing waves in a system thus increasing the noise in the system.

By placing a dummy load at the end of the line it greatly reduces reflected signal waves and so reduces the noise in the system- created by the parts of the system itself – such as Splitters, Wall plates, Drop Taps etc. It also keeps the system shielded from external noise generated by other electrical devices.
