This Kit features:
Explorer Draw Bar Mount and Telescopic Mast is easy to mount and light weight and easy to adjust height and direction of your antenna. It allows the user to fine tune the antenna position by as little as 1 cm if needed which is an often-needed flexibility when receiving vertically transmitted signals. Easy to use with our drawbar Bracket – It takes only seconds to use once the mounting kit has been installed.
Our unique universal Stainless-Steel Mounting Bracket is permanently mounted (but can be removed).
It is easy to install in just a few minutes and requires no special tooling.
The fact that it is permanently mounted means that can just drop your mast and antenna into place and set the desired height and direction and then lock off with two thumb screws and your away. The Stainless steel construction means no corrosion problems and many years of dependable service.
Explorer brand Draw Bar Mount with 3-piece lightweight strong anodised aluminium mast extends to 4.2M and collapses to 1.65M.

The thumb screws and tee nuts which are the only parts that can wear or rust out are all replaceable for a nominal amount of money and are on the web site. (parts and accessories) Adjusting the antenna for direction and height is a simple thing with the explorer brand.
Adjustable height is very important. Signals are not all the same. They travel at different heights dependent upon the transmitter sitting, the soil conditions and the general topography. So, it is super important to have some flexibility with your height adjustment. Fixed units on caravans have this distinct disadvantage. They assume a single height works best all the time. In addition, the direction alignment is approximate, not exact. Add to that the lack of vertical polarization and you have antennas that are unlikely to perform 30% of the time.
